6 October 2018 - The Old Trafford crowd is in disbelief as Newcastle race into a two-goal lead inside ten minutes through Kenedy and Yoshinori Muto. Things could have been a lot worse for United, Muto frees himself in the box and has a header saved and a Jonjo Shelvey free kick is deflected behind by a defenders arm in the wall but the referee gives a goal kick to Shelvey and Rafa Benitez's astonishment.
José Mourinho's side look stunned by the Magpies' early intensity, and the half ends to jeers aimed at the dugout and the board.
After the break the mood flips as United chase the game with urgency and the visitors drop deeper. A rebounded shot is pounced upon but is skied despite the player having ample time and space. Substitute Juan Mata bends in a free-kick to spark hope, then another United forward levels from a delightful pass as Old Trafford finds its voice again.
United smell blood and are going in for the kill. In the final minute of normal time Alexis Sánchez heads home a cross from the right to complete a remarkable comeback and send the Stretford End wild. The 3-2 win eases the pressure on Mourinho after a winless run, while Rafa Benítez's Magpies remain stuck near the foot of the table.
The phrase "top bins" is all about the top corners of the goal, where the crossbar meets the posts. It describes a goal scored with precision, power, and accuracy right into the top corner - an unstoppable strike! It is synonymous with "finding the corner" or a "perfect" strike - e.g. "They've put that top bins" or "That is top bins!".
